RITIMATION 3 AUGUST

eadings today OT: Isaiah 55: 1-5, NT: Romans 9: 1-5,  Gospel: St Matthew 14: 13-21  

Monday 4th - Friday 8th Aug:  Jam Holiday Club, Community Hall, 9:30am – 12noon   Wednesday's: Chatbite 10am-12pm.  Thursday's: Coffee at Kingsbarns 10am-12pm  Crail Welfare Assoc. Coffee morning Saturday 9th August, 10.00 am in the Legion Hall. There will be home- baking & raffle. All money made in aid of Senior Citizens Outing.  Crail and District Horticultural Society will be holding its annual Flower Show on Saturday 9th August at the Community Hall, Crail.  Doors open at 1.30p.m. There are lots of classes for everybody including crafts, baking and children's classes. Open afternoons August:  The church will be open   Tuesday – Thursday 2 pm – 4 pm during August subject to a rota of volunteers.   If you can spend an afternoon in the church on any of the days, then please contact Raeburn Archibald.   As a matter of urgency we need volunteers for this week.  

Kingsbarns Church Summer Events :  Sunday 10th August   Join us on Kingsbarns beach for a Songs of Praise at 6.30 pm followed by a barbecue.   All welcome.

The Congregation have been invited to a joint service on Monday 25th August at 6.30 pm in  Holy Trinity Catholic Church to Celebrate St Maelrhuba Feast Day. Light refreshments to follow  

There will be a meeting of the Kirk Session on Thursday 28th August at 7.00pm in the Kirk Hall.  Information, announcements and other contributions for the October issue of Karail magazine are invited. To Eric Dewhirst by mid-September at the latest please'.
